Mr. Fabulous

I think now is the time to formally introduce you to Mr. Fabulous, also know as: my husband!

 Thomas Cartledge

Thomas is the most laid-back person you will ever meet! He is so completely chill, that it's sometimes annoying for a high-strung person like myself. I don't know that I've ever seen him really mad, sad, excited, or afraid. I guess it's true that opposites attract!

He works for the Town of Tarboro as a Crew Leader for Building and Grounds. I am super proud of his accomplishments and how hard he works for us. As you can see in the picture above, he keeps his head shaved in the Summer because they work out in the heat all day! When I met him, however, he had the shaggiest curly hair you've ever seen! It was adorkable. :)

He knows just about everything there is to know about everything. He is extremely smart and is full of useless knowledge! He's a computer whiz, can fix anything, is an amazing cook, and is a no-nonsense kind of guy! He loves anything that uses electricity or batteries - has to have the latest gadgets and television accessories. He plays PS3, is always on his Android phone, and loves his recliner which positioned in front of his flat screen TV.

He loves NASCAR, and obviously he favorite driver is Jeff Gordon. This picture was taken at the race in Martinsville, Virginia. He used to be a Dr. Pepper fanatic, but now he has switched to Sprite. His favorite food is hamburger steak w/ gravy and mashed potatoes. He is as blind as a bat. He NEVER wears long pants - even in the Winter. Aside from having to wear jeans to work, he is always in khaki shorts. If that's not bad enough, he always wears flip flops all year 'round!

In short, he is perfect. He loves me when I'm unlovable. He makes my heart soar. He is everything that I could ever want in a soul mate and a best friend. He makes me laugh and I love him for that. :)

Choo Choo!

I suppose that there's no better time than now to jump on the 'Blogger' train. I've always loved writing so hopefully this will be a creative outlet for me to keep doing what I love. I don't have much spare time between working, going to college, and managing my own business - but I promise to try to keep you entertained. If Facebook isn't enough of an insight into my silly life, then bookmark my blog and keep yourselves updated! I hope this will be as exciting for those who read as it is for me, the author of my own life! Ciao!
