My Delicious Decor

As most of you know, I am always coming up with ideas that allow me to express my creativity and hopefully make a little bit of spare cash on the side. I am an entrepreneur at heart, and I have been that way since the womb!

A couple of weeks ago I had the idea to try making my own version of an edible arrangement. I have access to a lot of fresh, beautiful fruit - so why wouldn't I want to give this a shot? I totally love being in the kitchen and being creative. Since my husband pretty much sticks to the basic meals, ie: hamburger steak with gravy/onions, chicken nuggets, pizza, spaghetti, etc. I thought it would be a great opportunity to do something *I* really liked!

This arrangement features strawberries, red grapes, oranges, cantaloup, and pineapple! The foliage is kale. This flowerpot centerpiece what something that I picked up at a local store for about $1. I'm hoping to run across more keepsake containers to use for arrangements.

Obviously this is my first try, but I am hoping they will get better the more I practice! I don't like the skewers to show so next time I am going to add more fruit and kale. Something this size I would sell for around $25. I can make smaller arrangements for less and larger arrangements for more! :)

I am super excited to share this with you all! If you or anyone you know would be interested in purchasing one for their baby shower, wedding, reception, birthday or office meeting - let me know! I can coordinate some type of theme for just about any occasion!
